Wow!
The response to Cedar City Library's flagship art program, "Character Sketches," has been amazing. At the end of 2022, the program boasted 213 sessions, 145 individual models, and 2,396 attendees.

"Character Sketches" is an adult art program for anyone who likes to sketch, draw, or paint. All skill levels are welcome. High school aged participants are welcome to attend. There is no "teacher." Just come and practice. One thing we constantly hear from new participants is, "Gee. I wish I could draw like that." The answer from the "seasoned" participants is, "Practice. Practice. Practice."
Though subject to change, the tentative calendar for 2023 is on on the right.
Costumes for models are character appropraite. They may range from flowing gowns to loincloths, but models are always draped.
