Vernon Parish Library Board met in regularly scheduled Board Meeting Wednesday, April 28, 2021.

Members present were Mrs. Betty Westerchil, Mrs. Brenda Bealer and Mr. Randy Martin. Absent were Mrs. Gaye McKee, Mr. Gene Davis and Mrs. Verna Jones.

Mrs. Bealer led in opening prayer.

Because of a lack of a quorum, the members present went over the Statistical and Financial reports. Mr. Coy gave an update of things happening in his Director’s report.

Betty Westerchil, president, brought up that Mrs. Karen Skinner had resigned from the Board. The group discussed possible names for recommendation to the Police Jury to replace her. They recommended Mrs. Angela Davis, Anacoco, La.  Mr. Coy will contact to see if they are willing to serve and write a note to notify the Police Jury of our recommendation.
