There is no charge for the citizens of Abbeville County to get a library card.
Simply bring proof of your Abbeville County address
(license, printed checks, printed bill, etc) to
the library with you.


If you live outside of Abbeville County, but work or go to school within the
county, you are eligible for a library card at no cost.


Those who do not live, work, or go to school in Abbeville County
may purchase a library card for $15.00 per year.


Children must be with their legal guardians to get a card.
There is no age minimum for children's cards.


Your Abbeville County library card will be accepted at all branches.


To use our computers, simply ask at the circulation desk for a
copy of our computer use regulations and fill out a computer use agreement.
