In the past, your local libraries have been happy to be able to provide patrons with printed (hard copy) tax forms and instruction booklets. However, due to budget cuts, the IRS has cut back on printed forms and instructions to libraries. We may not receive all instruction booklets and tax forms from the IRS this year.
So what do you do if you don't want to file online or have an accountant prepare your taxes? Federal Tax Instructions are viewable online atwww.IRS.gov and the Federal tax forms can be downloaded and printed from the IRS website. You can also call the IRS at 1-800-829-3676 and request the forms you need to be mailed to you.
