Library Instruction

The Library System arranges and handles sessions on library instruction for all teaching staff.

New teachers of the basic education departments at the North and South campuses of the university listen to a library orientation during the pre-service seminar a week before the opening of classes.

New faculty members of the University are given overview of the library system as they visit their college libraries.

During the first semester, librarians usually discuss with teachers the OPAC and selected applications of the Libraries integrated management information system software, Internet use, and recommending titles for acquisition. They also facilitate the hands-on exercises. This is part of the Instructional Development program for new teachers.
