How to get a Sheffield library card

You must be 18 years old or older to get a Sheffield Public Library card.

What you need:
A drivers license with your current address on it or a picture ID and mail such as a utility bill, cable bill, etc. with your name and current address. 
You may be ask for proof of your age.

What you do:
Come to the library and fill out a registration card.

You will receive a card for your wallet .

With your Sheffield library card you can checkout books, audiobooks, and DVDs.

You can access on-line resources such as e-books, e-magazines, e-audiobooks, and newspapers, stream and download music, movies, TV shows, comic books and take on-line classes.

Login to your account to reserve books, renew books, check due dates, and fines.

E-Service Cards:

Sheffield Public Library no longer offers on-line signup for E-Service cards. If you already have an E-Service card and are 18 or older, your card will still work for all e-services.

E-Service cards can still be upgraded to full service cards if you are 18 or older. You will have to come to the library to upgrade an E-Service card.
