Have a talent or time to share? Want to give back, and make your community a better place? Volunteer at your library. Here are a few of the volunteer opportunities available:

Office Aides - Perform basic office tasks including copying, cutting,   shredding, filing, and cleaning.

Outreach Aides - Help promote library events and services by driving around town to put up promotional flyers and help bring library materials to senior centers around Mount Pleasant. Must have a valid driver's license.

Program Aides - Assist staff with program set-up, clean-up, and running of events. Some volunteers may take photos and organize photos in scrapbooks.

Special Projects Aides - Throughout the year, various special projects will come up which volunteers may be recruited for. These projects may be short-term, or one-day, while others may be long-term, ongoing projects.

Internships - College students looking to meet graduation requirements may apply for internships in library and information science or computer sciences.

Volunteer applications can be brought to any library location and will be forwarded to the Volunteer Coordinator.
