The Muscle Shoals Public Library offers books, DVDs, audiobooks, wifi hotspots, learning tablets, Kindles and computers for public use.

Library cards are issued to patrons who provide a valid driver's license or a valid picture ID card.

Loan Dates

Books, audiobooks and magazines are loaned for 14 days with a late fee of $.15 a day per item.  Movies are loaned for 14 days with a late fee of $.50 a day per item. Summer Reading

The library offers a reading program for toddlers to teens. The Summer Reading Program consists of interactive programs and story times for each age group.

Homebound Delivery Service

This is a free service offered to temporarily or permanently homebound individuals. As a homebound participant you may request a book, movie or audio book. Our staff is available to make selections for you based on your interest. To enroll for this service you may call the library for an application.

Test Proctoring

Test proctoring is available by appointment. Contact the library for more information.

Library Tours

Tours are offered to area schools and daycares. Please call to schedule a tour.

Tax Forms

State and federal tax forms are available at the library.

The library is a free wi-fi hotspot.
