The Robert J. Kleberg Public Library has joined E-Read Texas to bring you even more eBooks!

E-Read Texas is a program that provides Texas libraries access to over 6,000 e-book titles through Amigos Library Services. These titles are available on a free app called SimplyE or through the main Website: [ E-Read Texas ]

SimplyE: The E-Reading App

SimplyE is a free e-reader app that makes it easy to read e-books on your personal phone or tablet. SimplyE is a mobile app for use on Android, iOS, and Kindle Fire devices only. If you would like to try out SimplyE, download the App from the [ Apple App Store or Google Play Store ]. Once downloaded, click on “Settings” and then “Accounts.” Click on “Add Library” - then scroll down the page listing participating libraries and click on “Robert J. Kleberg Public Library.” 

How to Log in through the SimplyE app

• To create an account enter your information and follow the steps, you will need to log in using your own valid Robert J. Kleberg Public Library Card Number.
• Your library account must be clear in order to log in. Once ready to log in, you will enter your username and password..
• Enter your full library card number without spaces that is under the barcode, for both username and password.

NOTE: It is important to know that SimplyE is not replacing the library's current OverDrive® platform for e-books. Please note, that the SimplyE app does combine all the materials from OverDrive® and E-Read Texas to make your e-reading experience more convenient. However, if you prefer to just use OverDrive®, you still have that option.
