The Vernon Parish Library Board met in regular session Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016 at 3:30 p.m.

Members present were Mrs. McKee, Mrs. Westerchil, Mrs. Whitlock and Mrs. Jones. Absent were Dr. Biggs and Mr. Davis.

Mrs. Whitlock led in opening prayer.

Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as presented. Motion made by Mrs. Whitlock, seconded by Mrs. McKee. Carried.

Mr. Coy presented the financial, statistical and Director’s reports.

Mrs. Whitlock made the motion, seconded by Mrs. McKee to recommend to the Police Jury the reappointment of Mrs. Westerchil, Mrs. Bealer and Dr. Biggs for another term on the Library Board. Carried.

It was decided to meet Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 3:30 p.m to approve the 2017 budget.

There being no other business, meeting was adjourned.
