The Vernon Parish Library met in regular session, Wednesday, January 25 at 3:30 p.m.

Members present were Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Bealer, Mrs. McKee and Mrs. Whitlock
Absent were Mr. Davis, Dr. Biggs and Mrs. Westerchil.

Mrs. McKee led in opening prayer.

Mrs. McKee made the motion, seconded by Mrs. Jones to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as presented. Carried.

Mr. Coy presented the financial, statistical and director’s reports.

Mrs. Bealer made the motion, seconded by Mrs. Jones to allow Mr. Coy to bring in part-time help while two employees are out the next few months, as needed. Carried.

Mrs. Jones made the motion, seconded by Mrs. Bealer, to declare the HP 4250N printer, tag no. 118825 surplus. Carried.

Mrs. Jones made the motion, seconded by Mrs. Whitlock, to raise the property control value from $500 to $1000.  Carried.

There being no other business, meeting was adjourned.
