The Ninety Six Branch Library was housed in a small building where the Ninety Six Visitors Center is now located before moving to its present site in 1985. The formal dedication ceremony was held on April 14, 1985.

The Ninety Six Branch Manager is Shannon Rickert.  The Ninety Six Branch Library has computers, photocopier/printers, and Wi-Fi.

Play-Doh Club

Age Group: Family (Children 5+, Teen, and Adult)

About: Play-Doh Club is not just about playing. As well as helping to develop imagination and creativity, young children can develop fine motor skills by using Play-Doh to build strength in the tendons and muscles of their hands and helping to develop hand-eye coordination. 

Older children, teens, and adults can show their creativity as well, but all the squeezing and pummeling are the perfect stress relief as well!

EVERYONE has fun creating with Play-Doh!

About: Would you like to participate in our first ever Children's Book Discussion? Come join our new Bookworms Book Club! Our very first book will be The Enormous Egg by Oliver Butterworth. Read about 12-year-old Nate Twitchell as he takes care of a gigantic egg laid by one of his hens, only to be shocked by what hatches!

Smokey the Bear's Birthday

About: Celebrate Smokey’s 80th Birthday by joining the Smokey Bear Reading Challenge. Join Smokey in learning about wildfire prevention and the environment. Pick up your reading log at the Library, read 5 books about wildfire prevention, forests, or natural resource careers, then bring in your completed reading log to the Ninety Six Library to receive your completion certificate. Read books, take action, and have fun!
