This library has internet access, word processing, scanning, printing, copying (black/white and color), and fax service available to the public. Charlestown Library is a wireless hotspot. See the adult, teen and children program pages for listings of programs and events.

Charlestown Library has a meeting room to accommodate organized community groups. This meeting room can accommodate approximately 50 people. To register or to see usage guide lines, see the meeting room reservations page.

Charlestown Library Construction

In April 2024, construction began on an addition to Charlestown Library.

In this phase of construction, a new meeting room, administrative offices, staff breakroom and storage rooms will be added. The entry way and bathrooms will be remodeled in the phase as well.

This work is expected to be finished at the beginning of November 2024.

In phase 2, the existing library will be rearranged and remodeled. More public space will be created in the existing building.

Currently, the entrance to the building has been moved to the back door because the front door is closed for the remodel. Follow the signs around the left side of the building.

There are no public restrooms.

The book drop box may be closed at times.

Curbside service is available for pickups and dropoffs. Just call us from your car.
