He led a select group of the country’s pillars of nutrition work in pursuing PAN’s mission to increase national understanding of the country’s nutrition situation and promote action and measures for the nutritional improvement of families, communities and the country as a whole.
A single body of all individuals and institutions interested in supporting efforts directed towards the attainment of proper nutrition of all Filipinos. To reduce, if not eliminate, malnutrition by promoting proper nutrition knowledge and practice and implementing research projects to support food and nutrition programs:
- To initiate and implement projects in order to advance knowledge on and practices of proper nutrition and optimum health;
- To promote and establish linkages for local and international collaborations.
The organization's mission is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. That single purpose drives all we do. The need for our work is beyond question.
