The Autism Society provides easy ­to ­understand, practical information related to the autism spectrum for a broad audience on a wide range of educational topics to empower people to more effectively advocate and obtain supports. We work to educate individuals with autism, their loved ones, professionals from multiple disciplines, and the public at large about autism and issues within the autism community in order to foster acceptance and appreciation of individuals on the autism spectrum as the valued members of our community that they are.

American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AAIDD) formerly American Association of Mental Retardation (AAMR) is a professional association run by and for professionals who support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. RServices for People with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Provide a wide variety of interventions that help individuals of all abilities, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Easter Seals currently has a combination of services specifically targeting individuals with the diagnosis of ASD as well as other services that include individuals with ASD among their service recipients.
