Summer Reading Club is for all ages. Read and listen to library books to earn prizes. Program starts June 1. 2 Ways to Register

| Reading Levels and Prizes | |

Teens
Teens in grades 6-12 can earn 2 prizes for reading 500 minutes during Summer Reading Club. There is an additional prize for reading another 500 minutes.
200 minutes of reading -
challenge 500 extra minutes of reading - mystery bag Kids in pre-school to 5th grade can earn 5 prizes for reading during the summer. Each prize is earned after 100 minutes of reading. There is an additional prize that can be earned by reading an extra 500 minutes.

Adults
Adults aged 18+ who sign up are eligible to earn some great prizes! Simply sign up and track the number of books you read. You may read or listen to any adult material from the library.
Adult Grand Prizes:
Babies Babies aged 0-23 months can earn a free board book when they have 30 picture books read to them. The picture book titles that are read will be logged on a paper from the library or logged in the Beanstack app. |

Cultural Pass is not a required part of Summer Reading Club.
This admission-free program supports and encourages summer learning by providing free access and programming to over 45 Louisville and Southern Indiana arts, cultural, science, nature, and heritage institutions. The program is for people aged 0-21 years and their family. It runs from May 30 - August 9, 2026. Those who live in Jefferson or Bullitt Counties in Kentucky or Clark, Floyd, or Harrison Counties in Indiana, can download the Cultural Pass App on to their phone to participate in the program. Those unable to download and use the app may visit the library for accessibility information. |
