Potato Derby for Tweens & Teens
On event day, bring your potato car to race against other potato cars. Prizes awarded for grand champion racer and for best designed potato car. Registration is required.

Tweens/Teens in grades 5-8 can join us for a night of fun racing cars made out of potatoes. Participants can stop by the library and pick up supplies to make your potato derby car and the official rules for making your car.
Do you love jigsaw puzzles? Do have puzzles you've finished and don't know what to do with? Bring your gently used puzzles to our puzzle swap! Bring up to 6 puzzles you would like to trade. Puzzles must, be no more than 1,000 pieces, no missing pieces, be in it's manufacture's box and in overall good condition. For priority entry puzzles may be dropped off at New Washington library during business hours Sept. 14 - Sept. 18.

Grab a friend, pick your song, and get ready to shine.
Watch a spooky science show for all ages. professor Steve will teach us the science of Halloween - all wrapped around the world of skeletons, laboratories and monster movies.
Step back in time and read books about history. This book club will cover all kinds of historical events.
