Book Buddies at Borden

kidsPreK-5th graders can make friends, listen to stories and do crafts at Borden Library. This monthly program will have a different theme each session. Children must attend with a caregiver. Registration is required.

Tween History Book Club

Storyhour

kid booksFamily Storyhour is for kids under 5 years old with a caregiver. We will sing songs, read stories, and make a craft. Registration is required.

Summer Storyhour will begin in June.

Make a Bird and Birdhouse

birdChildren in K-5th grade and a caregiver can celebrate our bird friends by making a bird and painting a birdhouse.

Meet the Pet Birds

birdsHas your family been thinking of getting a pet bird? Then join us along with an educator from the Greentree Pet Center in meeting some pet birds and learning the pros and cons of having a pet bird.

Potato Derby for Tweens & Teens

potatoesTweens/Teens in grades 5-8 can join us for a night of fun racing cars made out of potatoes. Beginning April 1, you can stop by the library and pick up supplies to make your potato derby car and the official rules for making your car.

On April 28, bring your potato car to race against other potato cars. Prizes awarded for grand champion racer and for best designed potato car. Registration is required.
