On event day, bring your potato car to race against other potato cars. Prizes awarded for grand champion racer and for best designed potato car. Registration is required.
Henryville Library - Tuesday, April 28 at 6:30-7:30 Summer Art Workshops for K-5th Graders K-5th graders will enjoy learning about dinosaurs at our weekly dinosaur themed workshops. Workshop themes will be dino sculpting, dino ballons, dino games and dino fossils. Programs run June 1 - June 26. Registration is required.
Borden Library - Mondays at 1 - 2 pm Create Tiny Art All ages are welcome to pick up a tiny art canvas from one of our 5 library branches starting June 1. Create your tiny art on the canvas using any medium (paint, crayon, fabric, paper, etc.). Bring your art to the library and it will be displayed until the Tiny Art Shows. All tiny art must be returned by July 17 to be in one of the Tiny Art Shows. Please tell us which Tiny Art Show you would like your art displayed in. Tiny Art Show Come see the Tiny Art created by library patrons. Drinks and snacks provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Summer Reading Club Kickoff Have some dino fun this summer at the kickoff party to Summer Reading Club. Come hatch a dino egg to take home. Drop-in any time between 10 am - noon at the library's booth at the Charlestown Pop-Up Market on the Square. No registration required. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Charlestown Pop-Up Market on the Square Celebrate Juneteenth Join in the celebration of Juneteenth at Charlestown Library. Come watch the movie The Art of Soul. Snacks and a fun music craft will be provided. No registration required. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Charlestown Library Celebrarte the USA Turning 250 Years Old! Families and children of all ages are welcome to join in the celebration at this Wild West Birthday Party featuring The Cowboy Posse. Activities include crafts, birthday cake, cowboy reenactments, stories and a cowboy meet & greet. Registration is required.

PreK-5th graders can make friends, listen to stories and do crafts at Borden Library. This monthly program will have a different theme each session. Children must attend with a caregiver. Registration is required.
Step back in time and read books about history. This new book club is for students in 5th-8th grades and will cover all kinds of historical events.
Tweens/teens in grades 5-8 are invited to read the Harry Potter books and discuss them. There will be crafts and snacks. Registration is required.

Tweens/Teens in grades 5-8 can join us for a night of fun racing cars made out of potatoes. Beginning April 1, you can stop by the library and pick up supplies to make your potato derby car and the official rules for making your car.
