Local Black American Life Before
the End of the Civil War

black historyDr. Erica Lawrence will examine Black American life during the period of slavery and the pursuit of freedom in Louisville and southern Indiana. She will explore topics of abolition, slavery, racism, and laws impacting Black Americans during this season of American history.

The Extra Special Social Club

Crafty Creations

A craft program for adults to create seasonal crafts using a variety of mediums! Meetings are monthly at Henryville and Charlestown. Space is limited.

Food for Thought

A monthly cooking group for busy adults to share recipes and cooking ideas.
Bring a dish and the recipe to share with the group. Meetings will be the
second Thursday of each month at Sellersburg Library.

Recipes to Share

If you like to talk cookbooks, share recipes and sample new dishes, this group is for you. We share recipes and sample each other's dish. Meetings are at the first Thursday of each month at Charlestown Library.

Viva Art Canvas Painting

Join us for a fun night with Viva Art for guided canvas painting!

Registration is required and begins May 1. Due to limited availability, each participant can register for only one class. Adults 18+ only. Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure everyone is set up and ready to go! All materials will be provided.

Journal Making - craft program

journalsLearn to make your own unique journal. The journals will have two signatures, a fabric spine and a button tie closure. All supplies provided. Everyone will take home their own journal.
